This page explains what personal data this baby-shower website collects, why, and your rights, in line with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). This is a small, personal event website run by the hosts of the baby shower — not a commercial service.

To plan catering, seating and logistics for the event, and to let you contribute to the family's chosen cause if you wish. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in organising the event you have been invited to, and consent for the optional GoFundMe embed and any marketing-style communication.
Allergen and some dietary information can be "special category" health data under UK GDPR. We only ask for it to keep you safe at the event, keep it to the minimum needed, and do not use it for any other purpose.
Household RSVP data is normally deleted or anonymised within 90 days after the event, unless you ask us to remove it sooner (see "Your rights" below).
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Data may be processed by our hosting provider purely to run the website and database. If you choose to donate via GoFundMe, that transaction is between you and GoFundMe under their own privacy policy.
To exercise any of these, email rantistic@gmail.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
We use one strictly-necessary session cookie (no consent required under PECR). We only load the GoFundMe widget script, which may set its own cookies, after you click "Load the donation widget" or accept cookies in the banner on this site. You can decline and still see a direct link to the GoFundMe page.
